The Allandale mansion

The Allandale mansion in Kingsport, TN, was previously the house of farmer and businessman Harvey C. Brooks. The house looks like a smaller version of the White House. Presently, the mansion may be used by the public for tours, by appointment, and may be used as a venue for special events.

Rock Ledge

Article Abstract:

Shaver constructed a one-and-one-half-story chestnut log house in Kingsport, TN, in 1808. The house, which was nicknamed 'Rock Ledge,' is presently occupied by Shaver's great-great-great grandson Samuel Stuffle, Jr. Samuel Jr and his mother remodeled the house and added antique furniture.

The Netherland Inn

Article Abstract:

The Netherland Inn is a historical three-story house in Tennessee which was part of a complex of buildings built by trader William King during the late 18th century. It was later purchased by lawyer and businessman Richard Netherland who converted the house into an inn and tavern.
