Article Abstract:
New York-based architectural firm ARO (Architectural Research Office) deviates from the traditional business strategy of tailoring services to meet client needs. While the nine-person firm endeavors to respond to clients' needs, it does this without compromising its goals. Its architects look at design from a problem-solving perspective, thus eschewing a stylistic or formal approach and instead working on innovation. Collaboration is the driving force behind its corporate strategy, with each architect's talents utilized in solving problems.
