Article Abstract:

El Norte's 1999 special edition dedicated to Superbowl XXXIII veered away from the newspaper's standard format by having a double border on the entire page. The annual project is coming from a 1998 that saw the supplement garnering critical praise and a number of commendations from its publishers. The 1999 edition was put together by a marathon effort of an 'all-star team' of 25 illustrators, designers, reporters and editors in period of just over two days.
