Article Abstract:
Lacava design Inc. undertook the project of redesigning vibrant Montreal's most popular daily newspaper La Presse, and it posed a great challenge to its designers as it was in French and the French language occupied 35% more space than English did. The redesign adopted a modular design, new fonts to provide a contemporary look and different sections of the newspaper are separated by different colors to make for easy navigation and give it a more European than North American look.
