The Whipple House in Ipswich, MA, is a 17th century American house which was turned into a house museum in the 1900s. Aside from having an exceptional structure, the house has a garden called Colonial Revival, which became the project of two figures in historic landscaping and horticultural fields.

Minneapolis: the holidays warm winter's chill

Minneapolis, MN, is a city rich in history. The area's first inhabitants were the Dakota Indians who lived in the southwestern plains. Their land was then acquired by the military in 1805 which also paved the way for white settlers. Historic homes in the area are described.

Cazenovia's historic Lorenzo house

Article Abstract:

The Lorenzo house in Cazenovia, NY, provides visitors with a glimpse of 19th century life and architecture. Dutch land agent John Lincklaen built the house in 1807. His family lived in the house until the late 1960s when it was acquired by the New York State Historic Trust.
