Newspaper page sizes: what's best?

Article Abstract:

Many newspapers are cutting down on newsprint costs by shifting to a tabloid format. Tabloid-sized publications, unfortunately, tend to be associated with the sensationalist media. This perception, however, is slowly changing as the number of reputable tabloid newspapers increases. While newspaper designers who end up working with a tabloid format have to learn to live with limited design options, they can take heart in the fact that their newspapers are likely to be more competitive because they are tabloids.

Article Abstract:

A Lego replica replaced the nameplate of the Sunday Star just before Christmas in Toronto. The gamble played and a good feedback and a nod from SND came in its wake.

Nameplates: for now or forever?

Article Abstract:

The worn out nameplates need to be either repaired or just cleaned or redesigned. The problems that occur while revamping the nameplates are discussed.
