New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency

Article Abstract:

The John A. Roebling Industrial Complex brick factories have been idle since the 1950s. Today, through the partnership efforts of the state of New Jersey, City of Trenton and a private developer, the factories have been converted into a mixed-use facility that houses retail stores, an 'invention factory' and housing for seniors. The new building, which was designed by the collaborative efforts of Ford Farewell Mills and Gatsch/Johnson Jones, will also be used as headquarters of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency. A network of corridors connects the agency's four departmental quadrants.

The new millenium

Article Abstract:

The labeled Millenium House of Montague, NJ, which has become a popular location for photo, film and video shoots is actually a 20 year-old building. This was built by New York architect Myron Goldfinger in 1978 to serve as a private residence for a financial executive and his family. The building, however, was left to ruin because the owners met some misfortunes. It was only when Virgil Rogers of Art and Industrial Design purchased the property that it was brought back to its glorious state.
