Greeneville, TN, was created in 1783 and named after war hero Gen Nathanael Greene. Until the 1930s, Greeneville was a quiet town until money and jobs poured into the area in the 1930s. Today's Greeneville is a manufacturing center with dairy production, beef cattle and tourism as top industries.

The six-bedroom Boydville inn in West Virginia accommodates guests on a weekend break. Founded in the 18th century and originally owned by Gen Adam Stephen, the house is of rich historical background. From its early years, it was a well-known place that served many visitors.
