A quality font selection is not an easy job as there is no consumer report on type foundries. The factors taken into consideration for quality fonts are not only the visual appearance of font but also the technical quality of the fonts.

Narrow or wide: font extremes

Some type fonts are more fashionable than useful. One such group uses condensed, narrow letter design, while the other has larger, wide letter design; neither is easy to read nor beautiful.
