Grandeur in Maryland

Article Abstract:

Captain Charles Ridgely's Hampton Hall in Baltimore, MD, remains one of the US' largest and finest houses. Built by Jehu Howell in 1783, the mansion was built of locally quarried stone covered with stucco. It is now under the auspices of the National Park Service.

Grand Gulf Military State Park
