Walt Disney Co's 44-acre Burbank, CA, campus includes corporate offices, production facilities, sound stages and other facilities required for the other aspects of its operations. Development of the Burbank campus has beendeferred but the Team Disney Building is symbolic of Disney Chmn and CEO Michael Eisner's drive to implement Imagineering principles. The building's eye-catching features include designs based on Mickey Mouse' ears and dwarf caryatids. The building's design captures Disney's serious yet fun approach to architecture.

Graphic design firm Sussman/Prejza & Co was commissioned by Walt Disney Co to design the signs and signage system for its Orlando facility and Euro Disney. The design firm adopted the Mickey Mouse ear designs to develop a creative and systematic signage system. The signs used the basic black, white, red and yellow colors ofMickey Mouse with purple and green for the background. Sussman has also been contracted to design Disney's stationary, buttons, graphics and other corporatematerials.

Walt Disney World Co's facility in Lake Buena Vista, FL, consists of 30,000 acres of property allocated to hotels,resorts and theme parks. The Grand Floridian, the Dolphin and Swan hotels were designed by world-renowned architects following Disney's Imagineering concept. While the interiors of these hotels have been labeled frivolous and kitsch by many designers, the designs have been appreciated for their creative and innovative qualities.
