Several attractions await travelers along the historic highways of Montana, known as Big Sky Country. The route takes visitors deep into mining towns as well as through a number of national forests and Missoula's Southside Historic District, home to more than 60 historic homes and structures.

Delaware is known for its historical sites that were influenced by its early settlers. It has a Historic Highway which stretches from the Winterthur Museum to north of Laurel in Seaford. A re-enactment of the Towne and Country Fair and Civil War will be held in Seaford on August 30-31, 1997.
