Miss Florence and her art colony

Article Abstract:

Art patron Florence Griswold's home has also been a home to many noteworthy American painters. The 1817 Connecticut manor has been converted into a museum in Old Lyme. The permanent collection of the museum, run by the Florence Griswold Assn, has 2,400 works by 135 artists.
