Article Abstract:
Greenwood began decorating furniture and accessories after finding it hard to find affordable 18th- and 19th-century decors for her new Florida home. Although Greenwood has never been educated in the arts, she was able to transform her home into a lovely Colonial house that is filled with period pieces, all of which she carefully crafted herself.

Stephen Malaney started making tin lighting fixtures when he cannot find any to his liking for the Federal-era stone house he was restoring. He would later close his restaurant to concentrate on being a full-time tinsmith, using the same tools and techniques used by Colonial craftsmen 200 years ago.
