Ramesses III secondary queen Tiy wanted to overthrow him from the throne and place her son Pentewere instead of Prince Ramesses son of Iset one of the two principal queens of Ramesses III. Ramesses III died later but trials of the conspiration were carried out that are detailed on papyrus and queen Tiy and Prince Pentewere were allowed to commit suicide.

The mystery of Unknown Man E.

Article Abstract:

An unknown Mummy was found in a cache at Deir el-Bahri near the Valley of the Kings buried in an unmarked coffin known as Unknown Man E. Some feel that the mummy was of Prince Pentewere the son of Ramesses III who was involved in the conspiracy to murder his father.
