Tale of two Troys

Article Abstract:

Founders of the Friends of Troy, an organization to raise money for excavations of the ancient city in Western Turkey, sought support among the residents of its namesake, Troy, OH. The archaeologists who spoke about ancient Troy in 1993 brought Homer back once again into the intellectual air of the Ohio city.
