'Seated people' of the rain forest; mysterious funerary urns are found in caves deep within the Amazon jungle
Article Abstract:
An archaeological expedition in the Amazonian jungle, along a tributary of Brazil's Maraca River is described. The archaeologists discovered, anthropomorphic fired clay burial urns containing secondary interments, most about two-and-a-half feet tall. The mystery is how long the Maraca lived in the Amazon.

Elaborate remains from an ancient Phrygian tomb which could have been that of King Midas discovered near the town of Gordion, Turkey are described. The legendary Midas is said to have reigned about 700 BC and was buried at Gordion, the capital of ancient Phrygia in what is now central Turkey.
