Article Abstract:

Tree of Paradise: Jewish Mosaics from the Roman Empire a new traveling exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum of Art that attempts to throw light on the marvels and discovery within the history of Judaism in the Roman world is discussed. The exhibition is the iconography of the Naro mosaic represents Jewish visions of 'creation' and 'paradise'.
