Article Abstract:
The collection of over 145 items including coffins and mummies along with funerary figures were reinstalled at Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University. The study of mummies has been enhanced by latest technologies, like CT scanning, endoscopy and electron microscopy which reveals the method they used to mummify, and examines the evidence of disease or trauma.
