Mystery script

Article Abstract:

The script engraved on Pictish monuments is discussed. The scholars have failed to understand the enigmatic script engraved on the three hundred Pictish monumental script engraved on the Pictish monumental stories scattered across northern Scotland, but scholars are of the opinion that these characters represented some sort of limited writing system, and each sign represented the name of the person and symbols indicated rank, status or a mixture of rank and name.

Information on two human skeletons, found at the site of a three thousand year old house at Cladh Hallan on South Uist Island is presented. This provides the first evidence of prehistoric Europeans who mummified their dead.
