The 'Roman Glass: Reflections on Cultural Change' exhibition at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Philadelphia, examines the role glass played in Roman society. Open through Nov 1998, the exhibit focuses on the use of glass in everyday life and the changes in glass making over time, providing an understanding of the material's indispensable role in Roman society. Over 200 pieces, made between the 1st century BCE and the 7th century CE, are part of the collection.

Article Abstract:
Cambodia's museums provide windows to the changes in Cambodian culture and society throughout its history. The country's museums were closed during the Khmer Rouge years, but some of them reopened during the 1980s, and new ones appeared. The exhibits of the National Museum of Cambodia, Battambang Provincial Museum, Wat Po Veal museum and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum are discussed.
