Article Abstract:

Carlos Peraza Lope and his team of archeologists from Mexico's Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia (INAH) investigated about the city of Mayapan. Mayapan that was a vast and powerful Maya political center in Yucatan was destroyed by a violent revolt spurred by fear of Aztec mercenaries in the city.
