Article Abstract:
The shell workers at Ejutla applied various techniques to make a wide variety of ornaments. Most of the ornaments that have been recovered are either incomplete or broken. The artisans at Ejutla were engaged in various crafts activities and in some cases applied similar techniques on different kinds of materials. The Ejutla Valley research project has been fabricated to study its relationship with the Valley of Oaxaca.

The Kotyiti Research Project is described, a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania Museum and the Pueblo of Cochiti. The project's aim was to shed more light on the Pueblo Revolt of 1680, a successful military campaign to overthrow the Spaniards and part of a cultural revitalization movement by the Pueblo leaders.
