The festival of Horsens, Denmark is described, and is held the last weekend of every August when Horsens turns the clock back to 1534. That's when Christian III, a driving force behind the Reformation, was crowned king here. The monastic subculture which took root as Christianity became fully integrated into Danish life is also described.

The history of Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulchre, ordered built by the Emperor Constantine in about 300 AD, is discussed.The church was rebuilt by Byzantine emperors between 1012 and 1041 after destruction by a Muslim ruler in 1099. Crusader additions, fires and earthquakes were some of the events in the church's later history.
