Article Abstract:

The diagnostic procedures for identifying and treating a number of cranial injuries that are caused by different weapons is presented. The case of a woman is discussed who suffered a skull fracture on the back of her head probably from a missile attack where she underwent surgery and survived, living for another two decades.

Article Abstract:

A 2,300-year-old shipwreck discovered between the classical trading centers of Rhodes and Alexandria is described. This shipwreck, and other possibly ancient ones lying nearby, challenges the traditional assumption that ancient sailors could not sail long distances across open water.
