An exhibition of artifacts documenting the history of ancient Antioch is described. Ancient history counts Antioch-on-the-Orontes as belonging to the same level of great Mediterranean cities as Rome and Constantinople. The city's multicultural influences characterize the artifacts exhibited.

Mystery stelae

Article Abstract:

The problem of identifying the people depicted on the Hakkari stelae in Turkey are described. Many scholars believe an independent kingdom known as Hubushkia appearing in the Assyrian annals of the 9th and 10th centuries BC was located in this region of Turkey.

The excavation conducted at the site of Troy in northwestern Turkey, is presented. The results have verified the existence of a lower settlement from the seventeenth to the early twelfth centuries B.C.
