All that glitters is Scythian; a long overdue look at the treasures of Ukraine

Article Abstract:

An exhibition called "Gold of the Nomads: Scythian Treasures from the Ancient Ukraine" is described. The Scythian tribe originated in Central Asia in the first millennium BC and migrated into present-day Ukraine in the seventh century BC. Their burials rich in artifacts constitute one of the most complete material records of any nomadic people.
